Till Printers being connected to the PC over Network. (This keeps IPad Printing)

- First off. Please download the setup file from the link above.
- Run the setup file and click next a few times and then Typical and then install.
- Once installed. We need to find the printers IP Address. this can be done by powering off the printer by holding the left most button for a few seconds. Then when powering it back up press and hold the paper feed button, Once powering on you can release the power button but continue to hold the feed button until it starts printing.
- Once its printed out it will have on there near the bottom the IP Address of the device.
- Now on the PC, click start and type in Printers. Select Add a printer or Scanner.
- When the Window appears click on Add device, it will most likely not find the device.
- Click on Add manually.
- Select the option "Add a Printer using an IP Address or hostname".
- Change the Device type to "TCP/IP Device" and below that enter the IP Address of the printer. (leave Port name as is, as this is filled in automatically.)
- Click Next. This will take a bit of time but it should have auto selected: Generic Network Card. Click Next.
- Now select in the Left Column Star and then in the Right Column select Star MCP-31.
- Click Next.
- If it asks to share select Do Not Share this printer.
- Label the Printer as Location Counter #. (E.g: Portsmouth Counter 1)
- Click Next or finish.
- Now select the printer and Set it as Default Printer.
